Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the BLOCKRN app. By downloading or using BLOCKRN, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. What BLOCKRN does

BLOCKRN blocks apps you choose, on a schedule or on demand. Getting back in requires a friend's involvement — a distress call, a friend-set passphrase, or (for a cost) a friend-forced voice unlock. You are choosing to give a friend control over your ability to unlock certain apps. That's the product; use it with people you actually trust.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for anything that happens under it. You must be old enough to use the App Store in your country to use BLOCKRN.

3. Friends & passphrases

When you add someone as a friend and let them set your passphrase or respond to your distress calls, you're trusting them with real control over your device. BLOCKRN isn't responsible for a friend who refuses to unlock you, sets a passphrase you can't manage, or otherwise misuses the trust you've given them — that's a relationship issue, not a bug.

4. Subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription, purchased and managed through the App Store and RevenueCat. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your App Store account settings, per Apple's standard subscription terms.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use BLOCKRN to harass, coerce, or control someone without their real consent, don't try to reverse-engineer or bypass the blocking mechanism outside of the app's own rules, and don't use it in any way that breaks the law.

6. No warranty

BLOCKRN is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that blocking will be unbreakable in every circumstance. Screen Time / Family Controls enforcement depends on Apple's platform behaving as documented.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BLOCKRN isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including consequences of being locked out of an app longer than you expected.

8. Termination

We can suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms. You can stop using BLOCKRN and delete your account at any time by emailing hello@blockrn.com.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. Continuing to use BLOCKRN after an update means you accept the new terms.
